Terms and Conditions
By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. I reserve the right to alter the agreed design, if required, to enhance or guarantee structural integrity, creative design, or visual appeal of your product.
In order to contract Laurie’l Sweets you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.
Order Confirmation
Your order will be confirmed at time of full payment. All orders must be placed at least 7 days in advance. Customers placing large orders in the amount of $200 or more are required to make a 50% nonrefundable downpayment to confirm their order. The remaining amount will be due 7 days prior to the pickup/delivery date.
Display Rentals
Laurie’l Sweets offers a Macaron Tower to display macarons. A rental fee of $40 will apply to your order. 50% of this fee will be returned once the tower is returned clean and undamaged to Laurie’l Sweets within 7 days.
Pick Up/Delivery
Customers have the option to pick up their items in Arlington, Virginia or to have them delivered in the greater DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area. Delivery is based on availability and pre-coordination at least 48 hours in advance. A flat rate fee of $20 – $40 will be applied to DMV area deliveries. Fee will be agreed upon prior to order confirmation. Orders can be picked up in Arlington at no extra cost.
Laurie’l Sweets is not liable for any potential damages after time of pickup or delivery. Once the order is picked up or delivered Laurie’l Sweets is no longer liable for any damages to the product.
Cancellation
Laurie’l Sweets understands that plans change and we will make every effort to accommodate customer requests, but because our products are made to order and require several days to create, we cannot guarantee any order change or cancellation requests. Please contact Laurie’l Sweets immediately if you need to change or cancel your order and we will try to accommodate you. Laurie’l Sweets reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given due to costs incurred in the purchase, priority, and preparation of the order. Due to the nature of our products however, please be aware that our default policy is that all sales are final.
Orders that are not picked up will NOT be refunded. Orders that require delivery and cannot be delivered due to customer’s wrong information or availability will be taken back to Laurie’l Sweets and stored until further notice from the customer. Should you require a future delivery date, you will be held responsible for an additional delivery charge. Because of the nature of our business and our quality and freshness assurance, we will dispose of any baked item that is not picked up or delivered within 48 hours after the due time and you will NOT be refunded due to the above rules.
